Lacrosse continues to be one of the fastest-growing college sports, which means there are strong scholarship opportunities available for high school players. Lacrosse offers more chances for both men and women to earn athletic scholarships compared to many other high school sports, especially at the Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA levels where rosters are expanding each year.
Because the sport is still growing nationally, colleges often recruit beyond their immediate regions and look for committed student-athletes who have developed skills, teamwork, and discipline. This creates real opportunities for lacrosse players to stand out and earn financial assistance to continue their academic and athletic careers in college.
